HERDT-Verlag für Bildungsmedien GmbH produces more than 500 IT manual titles. Their goals:

  • Control inventory

  • Finished trim size: 206 mm x 291 mm; Page count: 30 to 240 pages; average is 80 pages; Cover stock: 305 mm x 430 mm, 200 gsm, four colour; Text stock: B/W text only –210 mm x 292 mm (A4) or roll paper (420 mm, 2-up), both 80 gsm; highlight colour and B/W text –210 mm x 292 mm (A4), 80 gsm; full colour –320 mm x 450 mm (SRA3), 115 gsm, two-up
  • Finishing: Adhesive soft cover done on Wohlenberg Quickbinderor C.P. Bourg 3001; Hunkeler equipment (merger, cutter, sheet feeder and a buffer module) is used for CF1050 online finishing
